This project prompt was one word: perception. The rest was entirely up to us as to how we were meant to interpret it. After performing many mind-mapping exercises and I found myself
starting down an interesting path: "challenging one's personal perception by traveling" became "trying to travel as a student" became "earning money to travel as a student" finally became "managing money".
After deciding my trajectory I decided on a premise: I wanted to create a book for young people to reliably turn to for information for money management. So many people, especially my generation (Millennials) and younger are never taught how to prepare for the responsibilities involved with finances and many become jaded and hopeless against mounting debt. I wanted to show how taking control of your money can be an enriching and empowering experience.
The website which features links to sources sited in the book as well as features and benefits of the book. This is also where you can purchase it.
The motion graphic ad for social media platforms if the physical media can't reach the
younger audience.
A billboard mockup of a poster design, ideally placed in a high traffic area in and around a campus.
And lastly, the mockup of the physical book. I wanted it to be bright, hopeful and clean.
